The International Global Best Teachers Award provides a global platform to recognise teachers and educators who demonstrate excellence in teaching, inspire learners, introduce innovative practices, and contribute to their institutions and communities.
Nominations are welcomed from government schools, private institutions, colleges and universities alike — and every nominee is assessed against the same criteria. Educators may be considered in more than one category where their work applies.

Recognition should never come at a cost.
No entry charge, no processing fee, no payment at shortlisting, and no cost to attend the ceremony as a nominee. No teacher should have to pay to be considered for professional recognition.
If anyone asks you for a fee in connection with this award, it did not come from us.
The International Education Conference in Malaysia is a separate, optional programme and carries its own fee of ₹14,000. Nothing about the award — nominating, being shortlisted, or being honoured — requires it. About the conference

The award is open internationally to educators actively engaged in teaching and learning.

Each stage is communicated to nominees as it happens.

Application submission
Self-nominations and institutional nominations are accepted, free of charge.

Document verification
Credentials, teaching experience, service record and supporting evidence are reviewed.

Evaluation committee review
Applications are assessed against teaching effectiveness, innovation, impact and leadership.

Shortlisting
A category-wise shortlist is prepared and communicated to shortlisted nominees.

Final evaluation
Shortlisted educators are assessed in depth on achievements, teaching contribution and community involvement.

Selection committee decision
The final selection is made by the designated selection committee.

Award ceremony
Selected educators are honoured at the annual ceremony, held in Malaysia on 14 November 2026.
